Esperanto Association of Britain
How to find us
Our head office and bookshop are at Esperanto House, on the grounds of the former Wedgwood College (also known as Wedgwood Memorial College): click here for a photo-guide on how to fund us and click here for an alternative map.
If approaching from Barlaston station, head east to climb Station Road and, at the top of the hill, go past the first entrance to the former Wedgwood Memorial College and the private road Coton Rise (on your left), then turn left into the driveway leading to (Estoril House and) Esperanto House.
Trains do not stop at Barlaston station but there is an infrequent bus service between Stoke and Barlaston (the journey takes about 35 minutes) or Stafford and Barlaston (about 1 hour).^ Go to top of page
The office and bookshop are normally open 9:00 - 17:00 Monday - Friday, but we do recommend that you check in advance, to confirm the opening hours for the day you plan to visit.
EAB members can visit the Butler library by appointment; again it is worthwhile calling ahead, since the library room is sometimes booked for courses or meetings.
