Several years ago EAB arranged with Katalin Kovats (editor of edukado.net) to come to the UK to train up several budding Esperanto teachers. That plan was derailed by the pandemic, and moved to 2024.
Daventry hosted Katalin and twelve teachers/group leaders/people whom new learners may spend time with over the weekend of 10-11 February:
There was much on offer, including a practical demonstration of how to memorably and effectively teach people how to use the reflexive without having to explain anything:
There was too much to fit into one single weekend, though, and so a second meeting, this time online, took place on for a couple of hours on Saturday, 23 March, in which the participants gave demonstrations using some of their own teaching material.
