Unu el la ĉefverkoj de la esperantologio, tiun ĉi elegantan studaron pri la fontoj kaj strukturo de Esperanto verkis Gaston Waringhien unue en 1959 por festi la jubileon de Ludoviko Zamenhof.
Tiu ĉi klasikaĵo estas plilaborita dua versio eldonita en 1989 kiel parto de la Jubilea Kolekto.
