What to do if you want to participate in the entire kunkongreso but can't travel home afterwards? Do you have to make a choice between leaving early (and missing out) and staying late (but being stuck on your own)? No, because we're offering a group meal at a local restaurant. We'll be meeting there at 7pm for a three-course meal, which costs £24.95 per person. The venue is the Dover Marina Hotel, Waterloo Crescent, Dover CT17 9BP. They want orders placed well in advance and won't allow people to turn up as part of a group booking on the day, so you'll need to order before it's too late. We will contact you nearer the time for your menu choice. (Here's a sample menu.)

  24. We'll be starting the Kunkongreso off with a fun social event! Ian Carter will be running a cèildh (pronounced kay-lee), which is a traditional Irish or Scottish event featuring folk songs, music and storytelling. Here's a nice video giving a short visual introduction to cèildhs: Ours will all be in Esperanto, though! Sign up quickly; the hotels aren't going to get any cheaper as you wait! If you're under 25 and live in the UK, contact us to ask how you could apply for financial assistance with your travel and accommodation costs. Kunkongreso site | Sign up

    Mez-Anglia Semajnfino Esperantista

    until
