  1. I need to use the Esperanto special characters in Quark XPress (in order to publish a book). There is a reason why I have to use an old Quark version, 5. I googled for an Esperanto font, and downloaded the first, "Free Esperanto". So "Esperanto" now appears in the Quark dropdown list of available fonts. Yet it seems not to contain the 6 special characters with diacritic marks! In Microsoft Word, I had written a macro that converts c^ etc. into the special characters, and they appear correctly in Word and also in WordPress. But if pasted into Quark they appear simply as "?" Can anyone help?
