Unu animo homa
If you live elsewhere, you can get it from E@I for 35€. A two-volume collection of Marjorie Boulton's lifetime of poetry.
Spanning over 1200 pages, Unu animo homa, a line taken from her poem Aliĝilo, contains every one of her poetry books, starting with Kontralte, with which she burst onto the stage in 1955, to Du el, thirty years later. We've added two collections which Marjorie didn't have published: Nuntempa eposo (1953) and La sekreta psiko (1954). Completing the eight-part collection are Rimleteroj (1976, with William Auld's contributions included, by kind permission of his estate) and a chapter of assorted poems from various sources, including Belartaj Konkursoj, magazines and books.
Edmund Grimley Evans, who worked on the project for nearly a decade, partly in consultation with Marjorie, neatly bookends the volumes with an introduction and set of precise notes.
We're launching the book in the UK at a special price: £20 instead of the recommended £30. If you're from outside the UK, please purchase from our colleagues in the EU at E@I: here's the direct link.
