BK2024: Banquet (Friday Evening)
We will be gathering in Somerville College's Dining Hall on the evening of Friday, 3 May for a sumptuous, multi-course banquet.
Somerville hasn't yet published its menu but has confirmed that there will be options for vegetarians and vegans. You can consult one of its older menus here to get an idea of what they're likely to offer. When the menu is known, we'll contact you to make your choices.

It is possible to drink wine with the meal but that has to be pre-purchased at £4.20 for 125 ml.
The menu choices are:
MEAT
Chicken, ham hock and apricot terrine with mango and chilli salsa, black garlic ketchup Short rib of beef served on champ mash with tender stem broccoli, burnt onion puree, crispy onion and a sticky, Smokey bourbon beef jus Dark chocolate delice with a salted caramel sauce and coffee gelato VEGAN (so suitable also for vegetarians)
Quinoa falafel with avocado and tahini dressing Pea risotto served with BBQ fennel, roasted vine tomatoes and a capper dressing Strawberry pavlova IF YOU WANT THE SECOND OPTION, REMEMBER TO TICK THE BOX TO SAY THAT YOU WANT TO EAT VEGETARIAN/VEGAN FOOD, OTHERWISE WE'LL ORDER THE MEAT ONE.
